This approach is not necessarily more expensive compared
to the application of boxed "solutions". Development is not
started from scratch: Schwebke.com provides a rich set of
building blocks to start from.
If it comes to realizing specific requirements which are unique
to your use case the advantages become apparent: Boxed software
can only be customized in a constrained range and with increased
costs.
Open Standards
All development makes use of platform independent, open and accepted
standards. Proprietary, vendor specific technologies are not an option.
Together with the delivery of source code (if agreed) you invest in a future proof
way. No attempt is made to bind you using closed technology: Such behavior
only indicates weakness of an offer.
